IMPORTANT TRAVEL INFORMATION FOR 4DFEST 2026
Thank you so much for taking a moment to read this — it’s a really important part of our festival planning this year.
We are currently in discussions with the Highways Department regarding access to Willow Grange Farm. Because the venue sits directly on the A10, which is a very busy road, we are not permitted to use the main entrance for general festival traffic. To gain approval for the event to go ahead, we must drastically reduce the number of individual cars arriving at the site.
This means we are working extremely hard behind the scenes to:
-
Set up multiple shuttle bus routes from nearby areas. -
Ensure transport is smooth, safe and accessible for everyone. -
Meet all safety and traffic requirements for our event licence.
Please note: Every single person who requires a seat on the shuttle—including all children—must have a valid bus ticket- this includes performers. We have kept the cost of these tickets to a minimum (£1). This small contribution helps us cover a fraction of the transport costs, as the buses are a significant expense that we are paying the majority of to keep the festival accessible for you. Having everyone ticketed also ensures we have the exact capacity needed to get everyone to the farm safely and on time.
We know this is a change from previous years, and we cannot thank you enough for being understanding and cooperative. This is one of the most complex parts of the festival to organise, but it is absolutely essential to ensure 4DFEST can go ahead safely.
